Protect Yourself
Don't Let Just Anyone Into Your Home
Whoever thought water heaters could be so confusing. There are some service providers who may knock on your door to suggest replacing your water heater. At Direct Energy, we are committed to providing reliable hot water to all of our customers. We understand how essential hot water heaters are to your home comfort. We suggest you be informed before signing any water heater contract. If you rent your water heater from Direct Energy and are approached by a door-to-door agent at your home, call us before making any decision or signing any contract. In the meantime, we suggest that you ask the following questions when any agent comes to your door:
1. What company do you represent?
2. How long is the contract for?
3. Are there charges to exit the contract if I'm not satisfied with the service?
4. What is the size and experience level of your technician staff?
5. How long have you been in the water heater business?
6. Is there a call centre ready to take my call 24/7?
If you currently rent from Direct Energy, and have questions at any time about your hot water heater or the terms and conditions of your rental, call us at any time. One of our Customer Service Representatives would be happy to speak to you, or schedule a service appointment at no cost to you.
